The lowest-priced tickets were the first choice for fans when the online ticket sale began on Sunday at 10.30 am (IST) through Paytm Insider. Within minutes, the cricket enthusiasts grabbed all of the tickets.

Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) on Tuesday took to their Facebook to inform that between the hours of 10 am and 7:00 pm, online ticket purchasers can exchange their tickets at CA Civil lines, Nagpur.

Originally, the redemption of tickets was scheduled to begin on September 22, but VCA administrators opted to begin it earlier to avoid a significant rush. Tickets can still be redeemed at Civil Lines till Friday.

Things don’t look good for fans in the 2nd T20. There are significant chances that rain could play spoilsport. As per AccuWeather, a thunderstorm around in the morning can be expected in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy.

The newly installed LED floodlights, which provide improved sight for players on the field and a seamless viewing experience for the broadcast viewers, will be used for the India vs Australia T20 match in Nagpur. An international T20 match will be played at VCA’s Jamtha Stadium, which has a capacity of almost 44,485  spectators, after nearly three years.

Team India and Australia will be arriving in Nagpur on Wednesday, by Chartered flight at 3.20 PM as per VCA. Team India will be staying at Hotel Radisson Blue while team Australia will stay at Le Meridian.

The teams would be practicing on Thursday at Jamtha stadium. Team Australia would practice from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM while team India would practice from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

No, fans are not allowed to watch practice sessions of any team at VCA Stadium on Thursday. VCA CEO Farokh Dastur told Nagpur Today that high security will be deployed in and around the stadium. He added that no one is allowed to visit the stadium to watch the practice sessions.

India’s T20I record at VCA Stadium

India have played four matches at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in T20 cricket so far.
Out of these four, Men in Blue have won two, while have lost the other two clashes.
In their first T20 match in Nagpur, India lost against Sri Lanka in 2009.
The second match also resulted in defeat as New Zealand crushed India by 47 runs in the ICC T20 World Cup 2016.
The first victory for India in Nagpur came against England. The home side aided by brilliant Jasprit Bumrah bowling defeated the English men by 5 runs.
In 2019, Deepak Chahar was the man of the moment as India registered their second win in Nagpur. They defeated Bangladesh by 30 runs.
